The Alternative Board helps forward-thinking business owners and leaders grow their businesses, increase profitability, and improve their lives. We do that by leveraging shared insights in peer advisory board meetings where members find actionable solutions to their most critical business challenges and opportunities.
Marketing and business development is a critical business element that remains a constant challenge for leading business professionals. The TAB Professional Board is specially designed to address this issue. The prime focus of this special Board is helping members with their on-going efforts in creating sustainable, marketing and business development programs that achieve financial goals and competitive objectives
Whether it is the age-old issue of generating referrals or retaining clients in the face of competitive pressures; whether it is the daunting task of implementing successful cross-selling initiatives or growing your business organically with new clients, this group will give you exposure to real-world, proven, and actionable solutions from your peers and the Board facilitator.
The Board is facilitated by Marc Miller, an experienced coach with a strong track record in helping people grow professionally and personally. Under his leadership, the focus of the Board is:
- Roundtable conversations about building relationships and getting referrals to drive growth.
- Developing Business Development plans and designing measurement metrics
- Holding Members accountable to work systematically to achieve their revenue goals
Also attending frequent Board meetings will be Steve Davies, CEO of The Alternative Board. In addition, we will bring in guest presenters to share their knowledge and expertise in business development, relationship building and networking.
This resource group is augmented by monthly private business coaching where we use proprietary business tools and proven techniques to ensure that you move the needle in your business and get the full value from this unique resource.
Membership dues for those who are invited to join after TAB’s screening process are $750 per month and there is a one-time startup fee of $895 to cover proprietary materials provided at the start of membership.
The Board is primarily intended for Partners in professional service firms who want to improve their business development skills. It meets monthly for four hours and the facilitator/coach follows up by telephone with each participant for one hour each month and visits each participant’s company quarterly for two hours for in person meetings.
There is no term commitment and membership is month to month, but in order to derive maximum value, new members should make a mental commitment to be fully involved for at least six months.
